Wondering if anyone out there knows of any companies that are hiring for environmental positions. I have a BS Environmental Studies degree and am interested in possibly moving to the USVI, preferably STT/STJ. Any information would be appreciated.

The other day I talked to a lady who works for the National Parks on St. John...

Not sure how you would get ahold of them or anything but that is the direction I would go...

There is also some kind of EPA project in the center of the island near the TUTU mall. But I don't know what that is about.

The park service and EPA normally post all of their vacancies on the federal jobs website http://jobsearch.usajobs.opm.gov/index.asp
Most of the jobs listed for the USVI are usually money collectors for the Park Service or security screeners at the airports on STT and STX. Not much environmental work with the current administration. Thanks for the suggestion.

Hello Bill,

DPNP, http://www.viczmp.com/
might be worth a try. They are a VI government office so expect to deal with some nepotism, inefficiency, red tape...

Also Fish & Wildlife - http://www.vifishandwildlife.com/

The University comes to mind, but I scanned their HR page and didn't see anything at this time. Their web site is http://hrweb.uvi.edu/employment/index.html

Not what I imagine you are looking for but thought I'd mention it just the same:
