Where can I find them?
I need something reasonably priced, shade providing, that is fenestrated. Does anyone know where to find that?
There was a windows and doors guy named Hansen in the other side of Bishop in Estate a Richmond.

If you Google it, there are lots of sites.
You could also call around to local shutter suppliers to see what they have or can order for you.

I just saw the clear panels up on a friend's home in stj and fell in love! That's what I hate about putting shutters up or closing all the panels. No light coming in from outside. So claustrophobic!

Thank you, my friends but I want the ones that open like colonial or Bahama and are made of vinyl or hardwood. And I can see through. You know, fenestrated. Aluminum clad would okay. I prefer to shop local.

As Alana said above, to find a local supplier that can get them for you. Have never seen any installed here for hurricane protection. Seems with them being open for breeze to go through, it would only protect from flying debris and possibly diffuse the winds.
