Ficus blight solution

I started a new thread for this as Trade's comment was buried in a long thread about something else. Anyway, Trade, they have to get this systemic insecticide from ABC Nursery in Wintberg Gardens. It is placed on the ground and absorbed through the roots. Carlos Robles at UVI is the 'man in the know" about it. Our shrubs that were initially affected are now healthy again, however, it keeps popping up in other areas, so you have to keep applying the stuff. Evidently they are bringing in pallets and pallets of this very expensive insecticide (name escapes me at the moment) as the blight is very widespread.

Thanks, EE. One of the owners got a new gardening guy to come look at it & he said it would cost $750.00 for the exterminator to treat them, then come back & do it again & we may have to cut the shrubs way down after the first treatment. I sure hope it works. I'll forward your info since I got the impression ours were going to be sprayed but I might have misunderstood.
