Not like some crackhead makin up a story. Sheesh.

I wasn't disputing the facts or defending the drivers in my post.
I was presenting 2 facts that the Daily News chose not to report:
1 - The drivers were available to move the cars.
2 - The blocked in car was not inconvenienced at all for those 90 min.

The transgressions and obvious violations are inexcusable and should be reported and prosecuted but accuracy and completeness should also be part of a responsible news report.

Miss Justice....
I am curious. Which of our politicians do you feel are honest? Please tell me if there is anyone senator or public official that I can believe is truly working for the good of Virgin Islands citizens? Surely there must be someone good in our government?

DeJongh is the most dishonest, to answer your question. Sanes and Fritz will mindless measly vote for anything government house sends down.
Sanes's in laws got $1 land and exempt employment with the governor.(Lareine Chicken Shack)
Chucky is a convicted criminal. And owes $180,000 for twenty years of unpaid taxes. Her children have $50,000 jobs with Dept of Health given by deJongh with no job description.
Judy read the news well for Crime Stoppeds, but does not grasp basic civics concepts. Nice lady but in over her head.
Nellie, honest, well researched, but distracted and very acerbic lately.
Gittens and Capehart good rookies. Gittens is strong and well researched.
Positive Nelson seasoned honest bright assertive and thinks outside the box. Wants to decriminalize marijuana, wanted austerity measures for the government, but was shot down by deJongh
Barshinger, my favorite flower child. As honest as they get. Pro environmental and very sensible.
I live on Stx so I will leave the others alone.

DeJongh, illegally removed $500,000 of road paving money to enhance his private home, according to the US Inspector General. (Our roads are criminal masterpieces.) He also convinced this senate to let him borrow $500,000,000.00 lump sum which he did did in 2010 and used it to promise raises, retroactive wages, and hire 1200 people from key families to get reelected. He initially lied when accused of using tax payer money to fix his home.
He raised taxes on the business community called gross receipts, and he refuses to release information to the Daily News regarding govt vehicles and will not cut perks In the middle of a catastrophic recession.
His terms saw the hospital in st. Croix go from fully accredited to half funded and teetering on closure. He signed off the Diageo Deal raising our penalties to rum companies from 5 to 45%, placing the US in jeopardy with the CARICOM before the WTO.he did not collect property taxes for 4 years, and has lost a federal court challenge for awarding a road contract to the higher bidder, who is his darling contractor, causing the judge to opine that "he exerted undue pressure" to have the contract awarded to his friends and campaign supporters, GEC. I could keep going on, but you get the idea. And I can back up everything I say about deJongh with multiple reputable links as I have done in previous threads.

I hope this begins answers your questions.

I am serious. I am against unilaterally blaming senators for rule breaking and reckless spending and then praising deJongh who does the same things at a larger scale. We must be able to tell the truth about officials' wrongdoing even if we like them. Consistency is all all I am asking for as it is the cornerstone of justice.

Miss I agree with you, HOWEVER Senators (or senators drivers IDC which) should hold themselves accountable to the law and by not punishing them you set a precedence. This is a blatant disregard of the law - regardless of deJongh or not.

If you believe all papers and new reporting to be 100% factual.... well then.... I have some oceanfront property in AZ to sell you. Roll eyes. I would bet its all about 30% true... its pretty much the coconut telegraph on paper.

I you really want your blood to boil go take a look at the article todays paper about the STT man pleading guilty to carjacking but not being charged with first degree assault, first degree robbery, grand larceny, using a weapon during a crime of violence. WOW. I wonder if he will get a slap on the hand... or more so who he knows?

IMHO we can't get anything done here, its totally pointless to try. I would suggest to write stateside congressmen of states you've lived in and bring awareness to the corruption here.... of just accept it and move on. Its already too deep to be dug out. My .02

It is DeJongh's administration under VI law that enforces traffic (and tax) laws. If you have any complaints about law breaking and its enforcement, deJongh is your man. Thank you for leading to this conclusion.
Ooh and don't tease us about calling "your" congressmen. Do it!
