Really bad fire south shore road. Burning right at the road. We had to turn around.

Thanks Tammy, we were on the boat and I knew I would get an answer after seeing the billowing smoke up in the sky.

I saw it near where the sign for that Wyndham that never was is, across the street from and east of Milgie's Grocery, but then I turned north, so it might have stretched further east.

Great Pond fire out now. It was only about 10 acres. Started at 2:30 pm and out by 5:00 pm.

Again, fire apparatus. Seemed to me they were looking for a fire someone might have seen or reported in the area of the yacht club. I asked one of the guys, but all he said is that they were looking for "something." They drove around for about 20, 30 minutes and didn't seem to find anything so they left.
