Good Day Islanders!

I just wanted to say that our trip is finally here! I've been reading this blog and several others for months & can't believe the time has actually come! I feel pretty silly posting this here considering none of you know us.. but who knows.. maybe you will soon! 🙂

Talk Soon!

Thank You guys!!

@AandA: We are going to STJ.. we should be there by late afternoon depending on how long it takes us to get our rental car & groceries on STT.

@Exit Zero: It is still a PMV type of trip. Can't be more excited!

Do not leave anything valuable in your rental car when you are not in it. Have a safe and fun trip...

Have a great time and enjoy yourselves.
Don't forget to check Connections and get the local STJ papers to help you along the way.
Lots of interesting things offered at National Park Service, including hiking trail maps and special event calendar.
Be safe and like gparrot said, best not to leave anything of value in rental car when you park up to go off to the beach, swim and snorkel.

Just wondering are u going to commute to STT from STJ for work or just work on STJ? Is it reasonable to commute every day?

Many peaople do commute back and forth for work between the 2 islands but it does increase your commuting time and cost.

There are many people who make the commute. People from STT work on STJ, and the other way around. But there are also many school children who do the same. Our public school only goes to 9th grade on STJ, after that, it's to STT. And lots of kids on STJ go to private school on STT, so yes, it is 'doable' but it does add extra time and extra expense.
