Does anyone know on STX short of the dump where I could get rid of a old generator ? I have a 5k Husky generator that worked great but now needs carb work and I dont really have the time/willpower to work on it... Getting a new generator this week so need to make space for it.

There are metal scrappers that would accept it. Sorry, I don't have names. It was a few years ago.

Just to the East of Mon Bijou on Centerline there used to be a recycler on a side street. I took lots of metal stuff there and gave guys from the dump rides there when I used to go to the dump so they could get rid of the scarp they collected.

Also a place on Midland Rd not far from Northside Rd with a sign up for buying scrap metal.
