Any suggestions on good, and inexpensive, places to hit for happy hour after work on St. Thomas? Doesn't matter the location, if the drinks are good and cheap I'll drive where ever.

Wednesday nights is lady's night at Duffy's. I think that all of the well drinks are $1 for happy hour. Sorry guys but it's been a while, someone will need to confirm that for me.

Good to know, thanks for those suggestions. I've never been to Green House but need to try it out.

Sibs is a nice stop off place. In French Town Hook Line & Sinker as well as the Frenchie Bar

Sib's IS nice, but I would not say cheap. Island Time is nice in Redhook - good view, OK price. Another nice spot is Iggy's at Bolongo Bay, but not much of a price change for happy hours there.

Don't forget Caribbean Saloon. Half price finger foods and well drinks.

Just got back from STT yesterday. Enjoyed $3 Cruzan n Cokes and $3 Vodka Tonics all week at Island Time Pub in Red Hook. That's probably a better "regular" price than you'll find at 90% of the "Happy Hour" prices. Phenomenal pizza, great view, excellent mix of locals and visitors in the crowd. Hands down my favorite place.

I forgot! Molly Molone's has $3 Stoli cocktails- all day? They also have a bottomless Bloody Mary or mimosa on Sunday.

And judging from the bar crowd, Cariga's has some sort of specials.

Molly's used to be the best happy hour drink deal, by far! I don't know about now, but a couple of years ago you got a well brand (including Cruzan Rum) 16 oz highball for $2.00 from 3-7 PM. I know that has gone up a bit. Anyone have an updated price/time? A couple other places did $2.00, but it was a 10 or 12 oz, at the most, and in some cases, like at Duffy's, it wasn't Cruzan. No happy hours food deals at Molly's back then.

ESSENTIAL information, thanks!

Question -- most of the posts here mention mixed drinks, and I've seen a previous post bemoaning the lack of good beer... is there no beer available on STT? I've done without before, but it seems downright criminal to not have beer when surrounded by beach!

Uh, no. I won't set foot in the place. 😛 I heard you sing there during every happy hour. Is that true? :@)

Trade: LOL!:P I too refuse to give them any money. I am interested in seeing what happens when the new place opens across the street. On another note, I saw in the other thread you are going away. I wish you all the best and hope you come back safely soon! (tu) And I won't even sing!!

Hooters is actually good for a low budget.
There's $10 all you can eat chicken wings one night,
there`s all you can eat shrimp $12(or $13) another night.
On the $1 bud night, you could order a $8"more than a mouth full"<<(I didn`t make that up, so don`t get mad at me! )burger($10-13 burgers seem to be the island norm, what`s up with that???) And add a huge bowl of curly fries for $3.
And,lately, the "scenery"hasn`t been like it was when they opened, so you won`t be distracted when eating or tipping!
No,I don`t live there,i`ve been 3X!
The Philly cheese steak is quite good as well!
A 15% gratuity has been added to the bill(they didn`t do that when they opened, I guess they learned locals don`t tip!<<Let`s not have THAT argument again!).

Does the poor mans still exist??
Do they still have pour your own??

Believe it or not the Bar at Wikked has a pretty good happy hour. 4-6 $2 Corona $3 Margarita's $1 wings (all their flavors) and $2 fish taco's minimum two to an order, also Appleton rum drinks $3
Jay

PS as for the no beer here there is plenty of bottle beer of almost every variety just no good draught.
