On STT, Hook, Line & Sinker is doing Sunday suppers from 5:00 to 8:00 PM with homestyle food like real fried chicken, pot roast, 2 sides with things like greens, sweet potatoes, biscuits & sweet tea for $15.00 & it's really good.

The IHOP at Tutu on STT never made any sense to me. Sunny Isle doesn't either. I'm sure they will be required to stay open 24 hours for franchise requirements, so why not go downtown C'sted and take advantage of the late night bar crowd? I remember (years ago in FL) leaving the bar at closing and heading to the Famous Amos down the street for breakfast. On Friday and Saturday nights it was standing room only at 2:00 AM.

IHOP was awesome in STT when it opened up.
It had, & was worth the wait as well!
The demise is well documented here!

To the IHOP franchise owners on STX, I say.
"if you always do what you always done, you`ll always get what you always got"
Crappy service & food prep will never make it in any restaurant!

Find team players, those who want to serve & be pleasing, want to get tipped/understand you get out of something is proportional to what you put in,there IS no free ior easy lunch!

Can the concept of earning pride from a job well done be understood here???

I believe many of us understand that concept.

Had lunch at Rowdy Joe's yesterday; Blue Cheese Cheesecake (kind of a quiche but very light and fluffy) and a lovely salad; my husband had a Cubano and fried polenta--everything was excellent.

Had the homemade ice cream for dessert which I didn't care for; kind of a "sticky" consistency.
