Good deal?

Saw a studio condo offered at $60,000. It is near Knud Hansen hospital. Do you islanders think that is a good or bad location. Thought of it as a place to buy now and rent out till I can get to V.I. But am unshure of the surroundings. As usual emails to real estate folks down there remain unaswered. This is not uncommon, I guess they want you to show up at their door before discussing a property. Or perhaps I'm to small a investor with most of their properties in the millions.

Neal:

You should take a trip down to STT if you're thinking of buying something. That way you'll know what area(s) you would be interested in.

Also, IMHO $60K sounds low......
