You will not find a whole foods or costco on st croix but what you will find will be better. You will find organic farmers markets every weekend, organic road side stands selling produce and fresh seafood caught/picked that morning, haggle with them over price. Many vegan/vegetarain/organic restaurants...so gooood! Unlike anything u r familiar with but a way of life, not because it is trendy but that is how people live here. It's wonderful! You are going to be surprised and love it. I promise you, you will not miss whole foods or earthfare but maybe costco. (:

Chobani $1.99 a container at Schooner Bay this afternoon. They had four flavors but heck if I can remember them (blushing)!

THanks Julie for checking. It's better then 2.49.

You should post your recipe to the thread as I think a lot of people, even some lurkers would be interested.

Well I am from the San Francisco Bay Area so I am very familiar with farmers markets. There are a few going on each day of the week in various cities and districts. And boy to I miss my raw food restaurants.

But yes the USVI will be a HUGE improvement over the food in Puerto Rico. Ugh, it is all fried and I don't do fried.
