That's the one that took me the longest when I started a company. They blame it on BIR though as part of a business license is a tax clearance letter. I tend to think they are correct, the BIR can be horrible.

The tax letter and all paper work is done. As I understand Consumers, can be a tuff nut to crack. Good thing I haven't slowed down yet, if I had, I would still be waiting for the propane issues to be resolved. Not impossible to pull it off by the 20th but it is still an up hill battle.

Thanks to each and everyone of you. It's nice to be back in the real world and not working for Uncle Sam anymore. Not as young as I once was but I still have the drive. Just a little more paper work and then I'll stop whining and start cooking.

"I ain't as good as I once was, but I'm as good once as I ever was." (From a country song, for you non-country fans. 🙂 )

Keep up the good work, Chris! The happy, barbecue-smeared faces you'll soon see all over your restaurant will make it all worth it!

Jerry, I can't wait that long. Everybody else on island there is a 99% chance that I will serve something on Friday. All inspections are complete and consumers said I should have paper work in my hands by Wednesday. So Friday it will be. It will not quite be the opening I have envisioned but there will be some form of a slow smoked meal and beverages available. I will post a now open warning at the driveway entrance. It has been a heck of a ride to this point, only going to get better from here on out. Thanks again for your support.

Chris
