So, I'm looking for companies that provide homeowners insurance on STX.

I have already contacted:

Marshall & Sterling
Executive Insurance
Guardian Insurance
Inter Ocean Insurance

I would like to talk to all available and do some research before deciding on one. Are there other companies out there that provide homeowner's insurance?

Thanks everyone

We found our homeowners insurance via AARP, based in Puerto Rico and they provide coverage here:

jumbie75 - thanks, haven't heard that one yet.

jswommer - Thanks, I've heard good things about the AARP offering but neither me nor my wife are 50+ yet.

Tommy, if you qualify for USAA, they may provide homeowners insurance here. I have USAA auto insurance here, as well as homeowners for the house in Colorado.

I do have USAA and they are my first choice for everything. Unfortunately they don't provide homeowner's insurance here. 🙁

Didn't want to start a new thread.

What homeowner's insurance companies have the best customer and claims service in your opinion? I would love to hear some first hand experience with some companies.

I use Kreke Corporation based here in STT after the company that insured me for decades dropped me after Hurricane Hugo.
Kreke paid damages quickly after Hurricane Marilyn and I continued on with them. Marilyn Kreke, the owner, has always been extremely helpful with any questions or issues I may have had over the decades.
