"Of course, what really happened was 19 readers (or people connected to those who read ) from this page yesterday went and "liked" his facebook page (a significant spike that can be correlated to us bringing to light his actions). This, of course, is very disheartening, though highly interesting behavior (the statistics that Facebook will give you are pretty amazing)."

This spike may have happened because his page was featured on the GoToStCroix.com Facebook page on Wednesday.

ahh, that I was not aware of..

guess that's what I get for ASSuM(e)ing... haha... though it underlines the very problem I've been trying to highlight as well.

As an animal lover that has raised goats and donkeys I have always felt a responsibility to care for my livestock and keep them healthy. It does hit a nerve when I see the condition of some animals and wish owners had a strong sense of responsibility. Wish I were in a better position to help. I know this has been a sensitive topic so I will leave at that.

if you ever feel like building up some Karma there's endless projects at our rescue.. haha, we are building a feeding station for the Thoroughbreds currently, finishing some fencing for the TB's also (I got a lovely hole in my leg last night from a strand of barbwire, not the ideal way to fence, but economically the only way possible right now, we hope to upgrade later), the horses benefit from just spending time with them.

We also have two goats that think they are dogs, or cats, or perhaps humans.
