I'm planning a trip to the virgin islands this spring to check out the area before i move down. My friend and I would like to stay at a hostel. Could anyone point me in the right direction??

Thank You!

I believe there is one in Downtown C'sted, STX right on the main road. It looks nice. I will try and get the name for you.

There are no hostels in the usvi.

That being said their are always cheap places to stay , but they are going to be very rough and might require a tent. Mt Victory Camp on STX has bathrooms and shower and you can put your tent up their SAFELY. They also have cabin like buildings for rent. It is on the west end. They have a website, I dont know if off hand but you can google it. It is not the way I would go but if you like camping I'm sure you'll enjoy it, I've never heard anything negative about Mt Victory.

Otherwise I would just come during the off season and you can probably get a motel room pretty cheap downtown.

any of them. We are actually thinking of camping at cinnamon bay on st. john. I'm a little concerned about the safety and about our belongs at the site while we're gone tho. What's the weather like in march? Should we worry about rain?

Can't guarantee there won't be rain but that's still a nice time of the year to come down. Ronnie's got a good place to stay on St. Thomas & his prices are reasonable. You are coming while it's still high season though. How long will you be down for?

If you get a cheaper fare to St. Thomas you could seaplane over for your stay on St. Croix. Or vice-versa.

Winter is the busier time of year here & places to stay cost more from Dec. 15 to April 15.
