Housing for rent with dog?

I have seen a lot of posts for housing for rent lately, does anyone know about a one bedroom for rent long term that would allow a dog? I already have a temerary place through October but want to get my dog there asap! I know about the Island trader and all but found that word of mouth is the best way to find a place and sense I saw a few posts here I thought I would ask.

Thanks!

Yes, it's best to search once on island, and word of mouth does go a long way around here.

Sorry I didn't say St. Thomas. Prefere Red Hook, east end.

I am not sure if Charlotte responded to your email or was interested in renting from you, but if not...I would like to hear more about it. I have also found it difficult to find a place that allows a dog. I was trying to move to St. Thomas by August, but I could possibly make some adjustments. Please send me some more info. about your place. Thank you,
Betsy

I believe there is an embargo on flying dogs from mid May until Sept. (?) because of the temp in the holding area of the plane. Might want to check on that.

Hey Brian very interested. How long is the lease for? That would be perfect because the place I have rented right now is through Oct.

I will be down in St. Thomas on May 10th and look forward to talking about the rental further. My dog is well behaved and so far has lived in place with out a fence for 6 1/2 years and done really well.

I am looking to sublease my fully furnished 2 bedroom apartment asap. It's right on the lagoon 5 min. from red hook on the east end. water is free, cable is free, rent is $1500. pet's are allowed. linens, cookware, washing machine, security gate, in a marina. Anyone interested? would support 2 singles or 2 couples.

My wife and I are planning to move to St. Thomas in six months with our small very well trained Pug (dog). I realize you are lokking to rent your house A.S.A.P. but would like to discuss options in for the furture if you had a short term seasonal rent from someone else until that time that we would arrive.
