To ship my CR-V it cost me just under $1100. That's the shipping part. I barely remember how much I paid for Customs. I think with shipping, tags, customs and insurance with Guardian it totaled just under $4000. This was with Crowley out of Ft. Lauderdale last September.

We are in the NE and just shipped a Ford SUV last month from New Jersey via Crowley and it was $1,600 - once in STX we paid road tax (goes on weight ours was about $600) and then the registration / inspection which was about $100. If the car is not made in the US there are extra fees.

Alright, I talked to Crowley today and quoted me at $1200 for my TSX and $2200 for my Nitro. Taxes for both vehicles come out to be about $1300 a piece, so it will be approximately $6000 for both.

Is it common for lien holders to allow it (Honda & Capital One)?

I'm going to call tomorrow.

Most lien holders don't allow it.

Called Honda and they said it's the US so it is of no concern.

Called Capital One and they require 40% of your payments to be less than 30 days late and your balance must be current.
