Hurricane screens

Has anyone installed the new Cat-5 or Force-12 screens or similar? All the advertising sounds good and all ads and articles refer to them as "affordable". The only price we have been able to get quoted was $17.00 a square foot. So that's over $3500 just for my back patio, before we talk about the front of the house, etc. I admit, I haven't priced accordion or roll-down, etc., so maybe that price is reasonable.

What do you guys think? Anyone get a better price? Thanks for your input!

accordions seem to go for about $14/sq ft in FL, not including shipping or installation. Electric are almost twice that. Local prices here vary. The fabric is only good on certain types of situations/installations--has alot of flex. No idea what the going prices are though.
