I too am concerned about rock fever

I am going to be doing my last pre-move STX visit in June. As I get closer to the actual move I become more concerned about rock fever. Every now and then I imagine my self looking out into the ocean and saying to my self "what have I done."I have always visited STT when I come to VI. I absulute love STT. When I visited STX I was like wow. This reminds of a town my family is from in NC. Atleast as far as the pace. I met some REALLY nice people in STX. I've been living in the city for years. I don't really do a whole lot in the city. But I always no its there if I get the urge to take advantage of the city life. I know no matter how much I do not do in the city moving to STX will be a big adjustment ( or mayby not). I plan to make the best of it and more. When I read the newspapers, it always seems like there is somethn going on. Anyway, although I have lots of rock fever concerns I am mostly excited about my decision. As I get closer to my visit in June I will get back with everyone with lots of questions about housing, stuff, what I need to do while I am there, last minute planning for the actual move, and entertainment. So I guess you will see me alot on the board. Thanks for everyone's help in advance.

When I speak to people about moving to St.Croix I get the same question, are'nt you afraid of getting "rock fever. I ask them, how many times on a weekly or monthly basis do they leave the area they live in. I find most people have about a 15 mile radius they operate in. They don't drive 30 miles to buy food or go out for the evening. most people stay as close to home as possible. So, what is rock fever, do they get cabin fever and take a 200 mile drive on a Sunday afternoon? I think not. So, don't worry about "rock fever" the cure is one step out the door.
