Hi All:

Maybe I'm just inattentive, but my latest electric bill seems to add up to .35/kwh rather than the old .27 kwh of a few months ago. (.27 has been the steady price for a good while now) I thought the price increase was a little ways off?

The recent 33% increase in the fuel surcharge was based on oil at $80a barrel .With oil nearing $100 get ready for another increase.

OUCH! More increases, groan. I am seriously looking at some power options. I have a solar water heater, which is nice, but I'm looking for some cheaper options to doing a huge solar make-over. I just got done listening to a BBC radio show on how we (all over the world) should all rely more heavily on nuclear energy as a cheap, clean alternate energy source. Not sure if I'm ready to advocate that we do this on a massive scale in the U.S., but I guess we'd better start doing something...

Start doing something may be an understatement.
