Hi everyone,

My niece from England is visiting right now and is looking to buy her Mum a pair of Tanzanite earrings as a present (not too expensive in the $100 to $200 range) 🙂

As I don't really jewelry shop at all, I was wondering if anyone has a jewelry store recommendation on STT as we will be over to look on Wednesday and any help is appreciated 🙂

Thanks everyone

Pia

That's sold pretty much all over the place. I can't recommend anywhere specific because I've never looked for Tanzanite but I really avoid those places where the salesperson keeps discounting what you were looking at, the closer you edge to the door.

If you're not going downtown or want to avoid it, Havensight does have shops that carry it. Hope somebody can be of more help.

Pia,

In STT downtown, I know Azura on Main Street as well as Azura on the Waterfront sell it as well as provide automatic appraisal on their system.

Their sales price is straightforward without playing the barter/haggle.

You might also try Little Switzerland on Main Street as well as Little Switzerland near Emancipation Park/Vendor Square. They have a big sale going with nice pieces - moving inventory for the new Season items.

Havensight has quite a few shops closed for Septembr especially on No ship days.

Having worked for Azura, I wouldn't recommend them. Right in Havensight, on the main drag, you'll find Dazzlers...go in, as for "Raj"..if he''s in the downtown location, ask for "Monesh". Tell him that Marty said they would take good care of you there and they will bend over backwards to get her what she wants. The family has several stores, so they can take inventory from one to another. Monesh and Raj at Dazzler's are the ones to whom I always look when I'm doing anything with jewelry...and I WORKED in a jewelry store! Good guys and they'll treat her right.
