Do we really want to start doing political advertisments on this board? Closer to the election, maybe a thread about our positive and negative interactions with senators or the governor would be more appropriate. This feels like the start of a slippery slope.

Linda, whatever. I just thought she presents an opportunity for some quality and effective leadership.

lets talk about dogs, rum and phones instead, way more important.

She might be the best thing since sliced bread. But will we be as happy to see advertising for Chuckie Hansen?

I'm fine with Chunky ads, as long as they misspell her name too.

Chuckie's megaphonic car disrupted my entire neighborhood last night just as we were putting the baby down. Seriously, why do you think causing a rukus in a quiet neighborhood at 8:30pm is going to win you my vote?

yeah Sean they have been going through Christiansted and Golden Rock too, annoying. Plus she is obnoxious as a person..

Didn't she get indicted for corruption? She must have gotten off because I don't think you can have a conviction and be a senator.

Down here people running for gov't office after being charged and or found guilty of something illegal seem to surface a few years later and act
as if nothing is wrong and think the voting public has forgot. Senator Donastorg running for Governer - pistol whipped his girl friend or at the very least was charged with beating her as I remember. Chuckie Hansen was indicted and I'm pretty sure she was found guilty of whatever it was she was charged with - so she laid low for a while; Pamela Richards, supposedly absconded with a bunch of money when she was Director of USVI tourism, tried running as Lt Gov for Gov wanna be Perez.

Adelbert Bryan is running for some minor office. He murdered his son. Shot him in the back, IIRC. And was acquitted. Joel Holt was his attorney. FYI

Don't forget Usie Richards who was reprimanded for some viscious ongoing sexual harrassment.

ICM is a haven for these people.

Here's a video from Channel 8. I don't watch TV, so I'm not familiar with the older guy...but he sure gets fired up!
Looks like somebody was defacing some of her signs.

Don't forget Ken Mapp. He was a VI senator, when it was discovered that he had registered and voted the year before as a resident in Georgia, cancelling his VI residency, making him not a VI resident, and not eligible to run for senate. He was thrown out of the VI Senate, he filed suit and lost... in the late 80's.
