I know this is probably a dumb question but does any optometrists offer lasik in STT or STX? I am moving to STX soon and I am scrambling to have the procedure done but I am not sure if I can do it before I move due to my schedule.

Thanks

I checked into it a while back and I remember southern Florida being the closest place. I could be wrong...hopefully so since I'd like to get my eyes zapped as well.

I wonder if Puerto Rico might have the facility? By the way, totally worth, I got it about three years ago and it's been wonderful.

I think Dr. Byron Biscoe in Nisky Center on STT is now doing it. He operated on my eye a couple of years ago & I was quite impressed with him. 340-776-2020 Call & check.

Dr Biscoe is top notch - same experience as above , if anyone does it here he would be my 1st , no only, choice.

He definitely does it. I had a conversation with him about it. In St. Croix I would check with Dr. Anduze.

Just a clarification- optometrists are not medical doctors and don't do surgery, although they do examine vision. Dr Biscoe, M.D. is an opthamologist and does do LASIK.

does anyone know how long he's been doing the procedure and what system he uses? Most doctors advertise the number of procedures they've done and the type of laser they use and sometimes the success rate.
