I was coming back to STX later this month for a couple of months. While there I was going to update my auto license. Now plans have changed and we won't be coming until Jan. The license is due in Oct. What problems will I encounter? What will the fines be?
Any way around this?

The website doesn't have info on license renewals, yet, so call (340)713-4268 and see what's up with late renewal.

You will pay late fees of a few dollars. Do go down first and get a permit to move the cars for inspection or then you will get a ticket for driving an unlicensed car.
