8-)I'm a licensed mariner ( 200 tons) I've been told that as
long as I can stay clean and sober I should be able to
get work on STT???

You will be competing against an amazing amount of professional Licensed Mariners here -- many of whom also have the LOCAL knowledge that gives them value - you will have no problem finding a mate position and proving yourself if you have ALL the ***** above.
