New lighting at the webcam site now installed - pretty classy!

I'm sure the armed robbers and other cretins that live under the boardwalk will disable and dismantle the new lights in short order.

But lets hope not.

Such a beaming ray of optimism to start off the day with!

Sounds good, I'll take a look later on after nightfall!

They're not pretty, but hopefully they'll last a while.

You can see one here on the Harbor Cam.

Just took a look and if the webcam pic is any indication it's a big improvement from what was there previously. Very nice!

Now how are they going to replace the boards on the boardwalk like the planned to do? Shouldnt they fix the boardwalk 1st then add the lights? i like the lights. It will hopefully put an end to mugging row between Nates and Seaborne.

I was wondering this also, Looking at the new bases of the lights it looks like they just expanded the concrete over the boards, which will cause an issue when/if they demo the "board" of the board walk.

I hope they use the new synthetic boards (made from recycled plastic or something) that stuff is supose to last for a long time & doesn't warp or have splinters...

Nothing like some good old fashioned sarcasm either.

Crime doesn't happen ON the boardwalk, it happens right off it, where it is still dark and without well working cameras. I also don't know why the lights are so close to the ground. Put them up higher and they'd work better. Great idea, poor execution.
