Jen posted this in Community, but I wanted to bring it to the attention of those on this board:
On Sunday, August 11, there will be a beach clean up complete with food, beer and live music on Lindquist Beach. I heard the chef from XO will be cooking, there will be free beer and live music.
9 am- late
Dogs are also welcome!
So come out and help clean up!

I've seen no word on how the clean up party went? Got a lot of cleanup accomplished? Any photos?

No photos from me, but it was a great time. For a donation, you got a t-shirt and unlimited food and drinks. Local bands played. Lots of people were there. They plan to have the next one on Vessup and then one on Hull Bay. I'll post about those dates when I find out more info.
