Hey all,
I lived on island for about 9 months and moved back to the real world in august- what a sucker. Anyway, I really appreciate the help I got pre-move on this board and thought this might be the best place for a question I have now.

Friends of mine are coming down on a cruise and I was going to send them to Lindquist and then Secret Harbor for a late lunch and some more beach time/snorkeling. I remember there being talk of taxi's possibly dropping people off at Lindquist on par with what they currently do at Sapphire and was wondering if it's been over-run? Man I hope not! I'd rather not send them somewhere that's overcrowded like Magen's tends to be and was wondering if Lindquist is still a hidden jewel. Thanks in advance.

-Joshua

PS- it's 27 degrees right now and we got 10 inches of snow last night. Take a minute and say hi to sunshine for me will ya?

Joshua: This was in the Daily News yesterday: http://www.virginislandsdailynews.com/index.pl/article_home?id=17620106. How timely! 😉

Hi, sunshine! Joshua misses you.

Does the presence of lifeguards mean we can no longer bring our dogs there? It was another option to Hull Bay.

I was wondering the same thing, about bringing a dog to Lindquist. What other beaches can you bring your dog? We will be on STT with a dog who has recently had knee surgery and could use some swimming for therapy.

There was a dog on the beach right by the lifeguard in the picture in the Daily News. Some dog owners go to Vessup on Sundays.
