I am interested in moving to stt , i work alot and do not have alot of time to do research on this subject. So pretty much what i am looking for is someone who has made the trek from the us down to stt. I really am interested in moving and really need someone to talk to because i cannot spend hours doing research. Thank you

That's pretty much all the STT posters on this board. Post your questions. What kind of work do you do?

Oops, I saw your other thread. Spending a little time reading on this board could save a lot of time & mistakes down the road.

Moving to the islands is pretty much a do-it-yourself type of proposition. If you don't have time to do the research, you should probably re-think moving.

First if I was going to move I would make time to do some research and not let others do it for me. The second and most important is why do you want to move and what do you expect from the area you are moving to. Write these down and then begin to look around. This forum has tons of stuff on the island. What is good and what is bad. THIS IS NOT FANTASY ISLAND. There are problems here like other places.

Okay, why are you in such a hurry? If you can't take the time to do research now, you'll be very surprised at the length of time it takes you to do things here. 😉

"Hi, I'm moving to the island, but I am very busy. So busy, in fact, that I can't use the search engine on this page. So incredibly busy that I can't even think of the questions I should ask before making what is the equivalent of an international move. Please advise asap.

P.S. I am also looking for someone to read the responses because I won't have the time."

maybe the busy life without time to stop and enjoy is what this person is hoping to get away from. A conversation does impart a lot of info in a much shorter time than someone can read through 50 pages of back postings on the website in hopes of finding information that pertains to their particular situation. While the info is all here and available and a wonderful resource, it's not really all that surprising that people often request help with additional shortcuts. New people who stumble across this site don't realize how fortunate they are not to have to find out just how much more difficult it is to scrounge up all this info on their own from separate sources without having it all consolidated on this wonderfully helpful forum.

bdsscc - I do hope you can explore some of the info on this website when you get a few minutes now and then. You can do in a few hours here what would take you weeks and months of research elsewhere. The info is always available 24/7 for whenever you have some free time you can spend online to work your way through various topics.
