Hello, I haven't been on the postings for many months. My husband and I are going to move to STX as soon as we take care of family obligations, etc.... I had a chance meeting with a woman in the Miami airport on Monday March 31, 2008. She told me that she was a native to STX and that she owned a restaurant and her husband worked at the refinery. She was headed back home after visiting in the states. I did not catch her name. i asked her if she was and east end-er or a west end-er.... she told me that she was a middler..... I had to go to catch a plane and we didn't have much time to chat. I was hoping that someone might know what restaurant she owned or what her name might be. Thanks for your help..... I also have another question.... i know that STX is looking to start hosting cruise ships again... I can't remember whether they would be docking in Christinsted or fredirksted... Spelling???? sorry. Any Information regarding the questions above would be greatly appreciated. Thank you Candy

While stx is always looking to host cruise ships this has not happened. The only good news in that vein is we are going to get 5 or 6 disney cruise ships for 2009. Not exactly overwhelming but every little bit will help business owners. Its not going to keep any local business afloat but it may give them a good month. I personnally don't want to see the cruise ships like the have in stt.

Candy, you are a life saver...you were at the Miami airport on March 31st? On Monday? Do you know the name of the guy flying out of gate 11 at about 11:00 a.m. that day??

He might have been wearing a red shirt that said "Dumb A$$" on it.
