Hi,
I am interested in moving to St. Croix soon. I have checked some sites for rad-tech work. The web feedback is not very positive as of yet , but I am keeping up hope. Any help would be much appreciated. I have 10 years of experience in MRI, CT, general X-Ray, and Lithotripsy treatments. Thanks . John Brentlinger R, MR, CT

There is no independent radiologist on StX - all imaging (except x ray and ultra sound) is done at Juan Luis Hospital. Dr Galiber is the radiologist at the hospital. The only MRI and CAT equipment is at the hospital.

There are a couple of orthopedic surgeons on STX. Most orthopods have xray in their office. Don't know if those doctors do, though. You could contact them and check it out.

The provider of imaging services within the JFL Hospital is a contract company called Advanced Radiology. It is owned 40% by the hospital and 60% by the Galiber family. The manager is Marcel Galiber. 340-778-6311 ext 2367. Additionally, the Galibers also own Island Imaging, an outpatient facility in the Suuny Isle medical center. BTW, the Galibers daughter Cecile, is married to John DeJonng. Its a small territory!

Just curious, you mentioned Lithotripsy- did you work with mobile or tub units with ESWL treatments??
I just started working for a group of 47 urologists and its somewhat interesting stuff!!
