Marshalls Dept. Store will be opening a store in STT later this year at the Tutu Park Mall. It's one of my favorite stores when shopping for household goods and accessories... This is much needed competition for Kmart and other furniture goods stores on island....Is Target in the horizons????? LOL 😀

Marshalls was in St. Croix in the 80s. It then turned into Mr. Dollar in Sunny Isles Shopping Center.

I've been waiting for someone to post this great news. I heard it last week, and again this weekend. W:Shen they open there'll be no need to go to PR.

I thought you were going to say this was coming to St. Croix at the Home Depot shopping center. I've been hearing this rumor for a while...I hate Marshall's personally (don't have time to rummage like that) but my wife loves it and I'd probably end up shopping at one here given the lack of alternatives.

I would hope that it is the same Marshal's. They have fur nature and stuff like that. They may only have clothes however.

Marshall's in PR sells Naturalizer shoes in narrow. If the Marshall's here will do the same, I won't have a need to shop in PR. Most other things are easier to buy online than in PR, I think.

Home Depot and Marshall's all in the same location.....OMG...Be Still My Heart!!!

Funny, when I lived where there was a Marshall's I never went (or seldom). I "discovered" Marshall's in PR many years ago, and now it's pretty much the only place I shop over there. Plaza Las Americas is just too overwhelming for me. I also look for Marshall's and TJ Maxx when I travel.

Another funny thing...recentlly at the Marshall's in Old San Juan on a cruise ship day (everyday in OSJ??) and the store was packed with cruise passengers, whom I imagine all have Marshall's where they live, or close. I had to get out of there, so I went to the old standby over on Ponce de Leon. It was better than it has been for a few years.

Not a big Marshall's or TGMaxx fan, so it's a miss for me, and I guess I'm alone in that feeling. I always go to the one in old san juan but mainly because I love the beautiful square it's in and it's next door to the starbucks, but almost never find anything I want. It's too much like treasure hunting, you have to go consistently to find the good stuff. Too much work. Rather wait for a Macy's, Kohl's, Target, etc sale online.

Any word on anything else going in there?
