I'm planning to move to STT in 8-10 months and live aboard my sail boat. I've heard about the DPNR moorings permits and moorings for registered boats. Can anyone provide me with contact info (preferably website, email address and phone numbers in that order of preference) for which department in DPNR I need to contact to get details on how to get the a mooring permit and mooring? I would really like to get a permit for an existing mooring in the anchorage by Red Hook. Any other information I would need to know would be greatly appreciated.

call DPNR. Their number is 774-3320.

And you will really probably have to go visit them in person at the airport...
