I think the seaplane flies to VG now.

Also, kind of depends on what you're doing. Are you going to stay there a while or is it a day trip? If you're just going for a day trip to the Bath's, etc., there are lots of boats our of STT. New Horizons does a fantastic trip. If going to stay, then there are ferries out of STT. You will probably need to connect ferries in West End. I'm kind of out of the loop, since I'm on STX now, but I would definitely check with Seaborne.

thanks juanita, we have friends that are renting a place for the week and asked us to come out for a couple of days. The Bath's sound interesting.

You can get from Charlotte Amalie to Roadtown Tortola to Spanishtown VG by ferry. It's slower and cheaper than flying. The BVI departure tax is also cheaper by ferry than by plane ($5 vs. $20, last time I checked).

We once went from STX to VG. We can see VG from STX on a clear day, but it took 6 hours by plane and 2 ferries!

You must visit the Baths. It's the #1 attraction on Virgin Gorda. Bring snorkel gear.

Hanging out in the North Sound is also fun, especially if you have a boat.
