Hi,
We are coming to STX in June for a PMV.
Just a question.... I know that individual health insurance is not available, but what about Medicare Supplemental insurance with groups like AARP, for example. Does anyone on here have a Medicare supplemental policy? If so, where did you get it?

AARP supplement is available in the Virgin Islands. If you already have a plan with AARP, just call and plan will transfer.
Last I checked, this is the only supplement insurance provider in the VI.

There is no Medicare Advantage, only several AARP (through UHC) plans. If you go to My Medicare and put in one of the VI zip codes, you can see the ones they sell here. It is a bit of a trip, because most of the people who answer the phones at AARP aren't allowed to sell in the VI, so you have to go through a bunch of hoops. You can also buy Medicare D (prescription) through the Medicare office here.
