On a small island, I am amazed that someone hasn't been able to give this poor dad a lead: http://www.onepaper.com/stthomasvi/?v=d&i=&s=News:Local&p=1223614386

Wasn't the decomposed body found in a cistern recently, female? If I had to bet...

I've read in one of the newspaper there, that there had been somewhere around 37 murders in the last year. I'm thinking of moving there by myself, that worries me. That's more than most big cities, thats scary. This was not on one island, but all three. Is there certain parts of the island that one needs to be aware of? After dark?

EE, I wondered about that when I first read it. I would have thought friends would have missed her. I hope she's not the one in the cistern. Just odd that she disappeared 2 months ago & nobody noticed.

Mydream, many of the murders you heard about are bad guy vs bad guy kinds of things or drug-related or domestic situations.

Trade is correct about bad guy vs bad guy.
Like any place else, don't go where you're not familiar with alone, after dark or with someone you don't know.

Sad about the missing girl & body............:-(

I hope this turns out well for Karin and her family, but I will be surprised if there is a happy ending. Karin is a troubled soul. She worked at the Marina last season so I do know here personally. She was definitely running with the wrong crowd and living a lifestyle that will almost always get you in trouble. I was told a few months ago that she was cleaning up her act. Everyone should say a little prayer for her and her family.
