Mongoose dem generally deter the snakes by eating their eggs. They can also kill and eat adult snakes (ex. Kipling's story of Rikki Tikki Tavi), but apparently the centipedes are a bit too crunchy (not meaty enough) and don't like to spar much.

Make arrangements with the agriculture department. Catch them and give them to those guys and ship them to St Thomas where we have an overabundance of chickens and iguanas because our mongooses are becoming extinct! The mongoose eat the chicken and iguana eggs. Some of us believe that the feral cats are eating the young mongooses. Too many people feeding them here at the dumpsters and the like, instead of catching the cats to be neutered, like in St. John.

lol yearasta. we must have some wimpy mongoose or very smart ones to run from pedes.

I will rely on my chickens to cover the pedes and myself to chase the mongoose away from the chicks. sounds like a new food chain.

everytime we talk about centipedes i have to sit with my feet up in chair and keep looking over my shoulder.
