Six Weeks to go no place to live!

We are moving to St. Croix in 6 weeks and have no place secured to stay. We want to be near F'Sted but not "in town". Mid-Island would be good as well. We also have 2 cats, declawed, fixed and indoor only. No Children. We our moving part of our furniture, so do not need furnished.

If anyone has any good leads, please advise.

See you on the rock!

Just stay at a cheap hotel until you actually go and look at places. Do Not Rent until you are on island. Things do not look the same as they do in pictures and you really need to see the neighborhoods in person. So I'm very glad you haven't found a place to stay.

There are SO many rentals on the market right now. You will have no trouble finding a place to live.

Hotels like Cottages by the Sea will take you even with your pets. You can also kennel them with Dr Hess or Dr Canton.

Hi Rosea!

I second Betty... if you can afford to stay at Cottages for a couple of weeks, do it. The only way to find a place is to be here on island. And it will probably cost less in the long run to have the two of you in an efficiency at Cottages for a couple of weeks, then to do your other idea of coming down again by youself for a few days to try to line something up, then flying back.

Let us know what you end up doing and we are looking forward to seeing you and Mark again!

-Beth
