My husband and I are relocating from Washington, DC to STX. We are going to purchase a home before we make the move, what are the type of lenders on the island? Do they require employment before purchase of a home? Do stateside lenders work on STX?

Thanks!

You should probably see if you like living in STX before you buy a home there and discover, 6 months later, that island life is not your cup of tea.

You can check with First Liberty Mortgage Company, LLC
340-774-1101 - Phone
860-664-1855 - Phone
860-664-9590 - Fax

First Liberty is good to work with. Any lender here works just like any lender in the states. They will need all the same things.
