*hi we will be visiting st.croix soon and would like to know if there is anywhere to rent a motorcycle for a few days ? the cost if you know and the safety on a bike meaning are drivers there aware of motorcycles?

I haven't seen anything yet on renting motorcycles or even Scooters or Mopeds on St. Croix. St. Croix would be one of the 'safer' islands to use one.... but the roads are very narrow and still on a majority of the island can be narrow, steep and winding. The locals are not used to powered cycles whipping around and will not be watching for you. Also, the tourists are not used to driving on the left side and I've seen many a fender bender while on island. Cars and fender benders are one thing but a person on a bike can be seriously injured.
I would advise spending money on a fun jeep rental where you can put the top down and get to all the out of the way places...
