hi everybody. i have a job offer at the mahogany run g.c. and i was wondering if anyone knows of an affordable room to rent, studio or ??? near the the golf course or within easy commute distance. i am hoping to find something around 400 to 500 a month. am i dreaming??? also i have a small venture back in the states and high speed internet is a must. any advice as far as cost , hook up etc. please advise---thanks to all. SP

Hi Sandy! A one bedroom at Mahogany Run is in the paper this week for $1700. You might be able to find something on the Northside for $600-800. Look through the archives here re: broadband and Ackley for high speed internet.

In case you're wondering, our high-speed Internet service through Ackley is $99/month and your service location must have line of sight to one of their towers.

Don't the Mahogany Run gc people have anything to offer you? Tread carefully, girl! And go to the firstt post on this forum for lots of informaton about moving here along with moving.stories. Good luck and cheers!
