My husband may be transferred to St. T in a couple of months. We have 3 kids 12,8, and 3. We will prob. be living near where the Cruise port would be. Anyone have and advise - info - helpful hints etc. What schools would be near there? etc. Thanks

Which cruise port; Havensight or Crown Bay?

Hello Terri,

Wow, so many questions that are hard to answer. If you are just getting started, the best thing to do is get comfortable and click on home at the top of this page. Read thru any of the Navigation links that interest you. Most likely you will find many answers to your questions and probably will be able to ask more specific questions on this board. I think my first time on this board I spent four hours reading everything I could click on. 🙂

I moved here 1 year ago and also have three children (8,6, and 1). Hopefully you have been here and have some idea what to expect. If not, than you most likely will be shocked as to how different life is here than it is in the States. I don't mean to be rude, but I think it would be better served to answer your questions after you have read up a bit. Also, do a search on this board for some of the topics you have asked about (ie. schools, the Havensight area which is where the main cruise ship dock is located, kid activities, etc.). The areas of St. Thomas are divided by estates. Havensight is in Estate Thomas. Next to that is Estate Bakkero and next to that is Estate Frenchman Bay. My husband works in Havensight area and we first lived in Frenchman's Bay. We now live on the North side of the island. But in any case, you might want to do some more digging as I may just confuse you. Giving a little more info on your situation will also help the board answer your questions. Good luck and feel free to ask away.

Teresa
