Monogram is obviously trolling. I would disregard and ignore that person's posts.

monogram, there is plenty to do thats not dangerous for the youth. it all depends om if that is something they want to do

Risky would be a better word. As a person who has had bullets whiz past me (as well as people stabbed in front of me) on several occasions while partying, I am giving a perspective that many here are not able to give.

[This has happened at many establishments, including the illustrious club in Princesse which shall go unnamed; a now defunct club that threw youth jams called Galloways that used to be near Sunny Isle; a popular "rooftop" spot near Sion Farm :D; and a F'sted bar near the legislature and park--oh and don't forget the only late night food place on STX near Canegata Ballpark].

I'm just being honest. I don't think most people here interact with actual locals frequently. The most social young people leave after high school and never return. How do you think all these incompetents end up in pubilc office? #BrainDrain

sounds like you were just hanging out with the wrong people and looking for trouble

there are plenty of the young people who have never seen what you described.

1. I don't think most people here interact with actual locals frequently. 2. The most social young people leave after high school and never return. How do you think all these incompetents end up in pubilc office? #BrainDrain

1. I understand your point but don't think it's something you can throw out as a glittering generality. This is a very transient society and most who've been here for many, many years (be they born here or transplants) are naturally cautious about "bonding" too quickly and, like dogs, "sniff out" newcomers. I've lived on (and moved around in) two continents and the same holds true wherever you are.

2. Many locals leave for higher education and the majority finds their career opportunities are infinitely better stateside than here. Again, this is true all over the world of young people leaving rural areas where opportunities are very limited.
