I am a electrician from Delaware and I am planning on moving to stx in about 6-8 months. How is the job market for electricians?

the only thing i know is that any electrician my bf has hired starts off ok but then they end up flaking on him and pulling prima dona crap. my bf also lived in delaware back in the late 70's early 80's. never call back and or just not showing up. you know if they have too much work let him know no big deal. you have been checking the other posts about what you need to research before moving down here???

I have been checking out this site and others to get a feel for what I need to do. Part of me just wants to pack up and wing it, and figure things out when I get there. But I don't want to get back down there and be jobless and homeless.
