Hi there,
I'm moving to St. Thomas for one year for a job and I don't want to bring all of my stuff with me. Is it possible to rent a furnished 1BR apartment for a year? Can someone give me an idea of approximately how much it'd cost? Since we're only going to be on St. Thomas for a year, we're willing to spend a bit more to have a nice place.
Also, does anyone know if it's possible to lease a car for a year? Other posts make it seem that a car is necessary.
Thanks for all of your help! We can't wait to get to St. Thomas.

Click on Forum List on the upper left side & check out the Classified section. Loads of places are furnished - some more thoroughly than others. Prices vary wildly but you'll get an idea from the Classifieds.

Regarding leasing a car:
In the past people have found the cost of leasing or buying for one year to be rather costly. One estimate was $500 a month.
You might try buying an older "island car" for three or four thousand dollars and reselling it when you leave.
