I loved how Anderson pretty much cut Mapp off mid-sentence and went on to something else.

Anderson know BS when he hears it.

Saw a clip of a long segment Rachel Maddow did on USVI Irma. She really got into the seriousness of the situation, but then interviewed Mapp. He painted such a rosy picture, it made me sick. Here we finally get a national platform, and he takes this "Nothing to see here, move along" attitude.

He keeps doing that! On every interview he's all rosy and cheery. I don't get it! It's hmgoing to make people stateside think we're ok and stop helping. He is such an ass!!!!!

In the adjacent thread "what's the REAL situation on SST" your asking why the Governor is telling the media everything is fine.

Maybe to give the impression that things are under control, recovery is happening, and everyone is safe... you know... for our future tourists!

There still seems to be a lot more coverage of the reality than fairy tales.
