Hello, Well, I'm headed in 1/1/09...starting the new year at my new home (well, temporary home until I find a permanent rental). Looking for anyone who may be needing to get rid of a cheap used car in good condition, possibly a place to rent out (1 bedroom preferred furnished) and some suggestions on what to bring since we aren't moving our furniture over. Also, any jobs advice? I'd like to bartend, but don't have any experience (although personally, I know how to make some drinks!) Any suggestions or answers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Which island are you moving to?
There will be a lot of people looking for the exact same things you're looking for, at about the same time you'll be moving here (high season). Bring lots of cash.

we are moving to a smaller house downsizing or home and empting our 1 bedroom rental...........

Moving to St Thomas. Thanks for the responses. Snapper, thanks. Probably won't work if it's not furnished, but the could work depending on $$ if it was furnished.
