Hello,

I asked this question once before and did get help finding an online radio station from the usvi. I have been listening to Isle95, but it is a little "hard" for me (for lack of a better term).

Are there any other radio stations that are more light reggae, jimmy buffettish, softer island style tunes??

I used to live in Hawaii and still love the Hawaiian sound. They also play a lot of a mix of Hawaiian and Jamaican reggae that they call Jawaiian. Is there anything similar to that type of sound on a local radio station in the usvi?

Thanks, Kat

Hello Kat,

There are other stations, however I don't know of any others besides Isle95 that offer live radio through their website.

There is a VI Reggae website that offers live music through their site; http://vireggae.com/viradio.htm. The sounds vary by artist, some lighter than others... you can give a listen and see what you think. You can listen by artist as well rather than the mix radio options by choosing The Albums in the menu.

Not what you asked for but I was looking at a site earlier today and its related to island music, so I want to mention it ;). If you haven't been introduced to Quelbe, visit http://www.jamesieproject.com/movie-trailer.htm and Play the Trailer.

Anyone else have suggestions?
