and if you buy over $50 at cvs, you can usually get shipping free at cvs.com.

"I was bored....."

I suppose next you're going to drive downtown, find a great parking spot, and sit in your car and count how many people ask you if you're leaving...:D

OK, just so I'm clear - does cvs.com ship direct to USVI addresses?

How long does shipping usually take? What about OTC medication? With the airlines charging for baggage, my milk runs to the states have been curtailed.

Shipping is by Priority Mail, so it takes the usual amount of time -- a few days, a week, or forever! 😉 Yes, OTC medication is also easy to get at CVS.com. But you can't get aerosols (i.e., BUG SPRAY, sadly) because those items can't ship by air.

These are great tips.... thank you. I'm gonna go check out these two websites right away... I'm thinking - suntan lotion/sun block, shampoos, excedrin, nail polish, .... I can easily spend 50 bucks and probably have a savings still of $20.00. Shopping! 🙂

I seriously shop online all the time but I would have never thought to shop CVS, or pharmacy... who knew.? (you did, obviously, thx)

I have placed at least a dozen orders with CVS. Never a major problem. One order they didn't put any wadding in to keep the heavy items from shifting around so when it arrived all the items had come out of their individual packing boxes. Nothing damaged, but doesn't make a good impression when you open the box.

Usually they are excellent about packing and even go so far as to tape tubes and bottles shut so there is little or no chance they will come open in the mail. Because they take this extra step it takes them one - two days to pack your order and ship it. I usually receive everything within 6 - 9 days from when I placed the order. They ship from Indianapolis.

My only complaint about them is their web site isn't great. They seem to have everything, but finding what you want can be a challenge. For instance the suntan lotion I like has to be searched as sports cream

I highly recommend the generic CVS suntan lotion that they call their sports cream SPF 50. Water proof so it when you sweat it doesn't run into your eyes and make them burn. Often can get an 8oz tube for around $5.

I have a problem with sunscreen stinging my eyes so I appreciate the recommendation!

I use CVS.com as well, but I actually found Tom's Natural toothpaste and Speedstick cheaper at Cost-u-less, of course I probably will never find those two items at cost-u-less ever again.
