Radio talk shows are the most popular medium for getting the message out, BUT many callers are paid to call in supporting certain candidates.

It seems as though this forum has now been hijacked as political support for particular candidates instead of them paying for paid political advertising.

Let the owner/ moderator answer questions if political hacks can advertise for free on a forum that depends on free contributions from users.

I didn't receive anything for supporting Coffelt/Canegata. My payoff would have been in ethical governance, should they have been elected.

Being paid by PAC's to flood forums and radio shows is common.

Didn't I just read a post dedicated to how Donna stood up against Walmart a couple years ago... (is a check coming in the mail?)

If Walmart had given free shipping it would compete with local businesses and cost local jobs. If she did stand up for it she was misguided.

Her constituents wrote to her and she responded on their behalf which is what an elected official is supposed to do. I didn't support her decision for the reasons you stated, but that was her political risk to take.

It was a very popular topic on this forum which is why I brought it up. Too often people forget what someone has done for them, and complain that politicians don't do anything. Chucky makes sure you don't forget what she's done.
